The Maestro is by far the superior car seat! The straps are much easier to adjust and the arm rests are more user friendly. The seat is comfy on long trips, and the head area is much more protected. The straps on the Chase are difficult to adjust and change settings as the child grows. He seems to like it. The strap adjuster is in kind of a strange location, but it has never been a big issue for us. The straps do twist occasionally, but once again, not a big issue. I just straighten them when needed. The activity tray lid rattles a bit when the car seat and tray are empty, but not something I care about. The seat is comfortable, safe, a good price, a good color and grows with the child. I would buy it again. |
